Organizing Information

I can't tell you how I organize data because I'm the only one in the family without my own computer, but I can tell you how my family does. My brother, keeps folders within folders within folders, each with a more specific label. I've never gone on my mother's computer, but I can assume she does the same. The only time I've used my sisters' computer, I couldn't tell how they organize anything. I believe there's a system that only makes sense to them.

No, I Don't Know Why.

An inventor by the name of Dominic Wilcox has invented a smartphone stylus specifically designed for use in bathtubs. It goes on your nose. The DIY Nose Stylus is a thin piece of plaster that is strapped onto the head, and contains real stylus inside. Because recent smartphones are designed to only respond to electrical signals from bare skin or a specialty stylus, only the tip of the nose piece will work on your device.
Although, perhaps the most disturbing trait of the DIY is that it is embedded with fibers to simulate nose hair.

It takes all kinds...

The Couch Mouse

The Logitech Company has put on sale the Couch Mouse M515. Meant to be connected to laptops, this wireless mouse works on any surface, except glass, in which case, a mouse pad is recommended. The motion sensor is shielded by a thin plastic which prevents dirt and the like from getting in. The couch mouse only operates when a hand is placed on it, preventing any accidental movement. The scrolling wheel operates seamlessly and tilts side to side for side scrolling. The cherry on top is it's massive two year battery life. Let's face it, if you're the type that springs for something like this, you'll have already bought the next one by the time you have to recharge this. It is currently priced at $50.

Lockheed Martin's Advanced Technology Labs is developing a "Spy-Bot." In it's programing are the constant goals of avoiding detection by other sentries, avoid areas where targets could easily escape, and to stay in the shadows, where it is harder to spot. The four wheeled agent operates with laser scanners for sight, and acoustic sensors for hearing.

DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) continues progress on their hummingbird spy drone. The latest prototype runs for 8 minutes, a big leap from the previous 20 seconds. Only a few grams heavier than an actual hummingbird, the robot, in flight, looks just like the real thing. It flies up, down, left, right, and can turn on a dime. This drone, once completed, will make an excellent spy, in areas where hummingbirds are a common sight...

My Weekend

This weekend was one of simple pleasures. I was finally able to post pages 2 - 13 of my book. I'm hoping to get the next 13 in next weekend.
Other than that, not much else happened.

 - Why do people create blogs?
People create blogs to share their personal opinions to anyone who will listen.- Other than this class, what can you use your blog for?
I could use this as my own journal.- What should you consider before you create or post on a blog?
People need to consider the consequences of every post.- What are some blogs that you follow?
I only follow my classmate's blogs.- What is Google AdSense?
It is a Google service that allows people to create ads.
